Budo Fightgear - Australian-Designed BJJ Gear

Budo Fightgear is Melbourne-born and Australian-owned, and the artwork is what people notice first. The range draws on Japanese folklore, with gis and rash guards named for the yōkai and spirits they depict — Onikuma, Akkorokamui, Nure-Onna, Yatagarasu. The detail sits inside the jacket and across the panels rather than plastered over the outside, which keeps everything competition-legal while still looking like nothing else on the mats. Budo BJJ Gis

The gi range runs from around $199 to $250, built on pearl weave with reinforced stitching at the stress points and sold pre-shrunk, so what you order is close to what you keep. Sizing covers A0 through A4, with the Kids Kihon Fundamental gi available in M0 to M4 for juniors. The ONI x VIPER Competition model is the lightest cut for tournament day, while Onikuma, Zombie Shaka, Akkorokamui, Nure-Onna and Battle Royale cover daily training in both white and black. Budo gis are cut to meet IBJJF uniform requirements on sleeve length, collar thickness and fabric weight, and the Kihon Ranked rash guards satisfy the belt-colour rule for no-gi divisions.
